Bio

In a world possessed with posturing and posing, it’s refreshing to run into an artist more interested in authentic expression than fifteen minutes of fame.

Meeting Jessica Ridley for the first time, in person or through your iPod, is like running into an old friend. She makes everyone around her instantly feel at ease. You can pick up right where you left off…even if it’s the first time.

A vocal range capable of traveling from satin to sassy in under one song, mixed together with top shelf material from world class writers including Jeff Silvey (George Strait), Bill Champlin (Chicago), Billy Simon (Mark Wills), and James Dean Hicks (Kenny Chesney, Jessica Simpson) and you’ve got a world class debut album.

Though she is proud of where she's come from, her heart and mind are seriously focused on where she's headed in the here and now, as well as the days and years ahead. Recently showcasing at Canadian Country Music Week in Vancouver, and still riding the momentum of a Top 100 single with "Hit and Run", Jessica is looking forward to getting out extensively in the Fall of '09 and for the bulk of 2010,  to meet and make fans through live performances around the continent. With strong U.S. based management recently secured, a prominent presence Stateside is sure to be felt over this coming year.

In a world of wannabes - and musical hopefuls clamoring for their fifteen minutes of fame in the spotlight - Jessica Ridley lets it be known that she will never be remembered as a musical "hit and run" - but rather, is planning on making music her way of life for a long, long time.

Better get comfortable...and hang on for the ride of your life!!!
